I know a number of other folks who stayed home for Memorial Day weekend who would usually travel, but it was due to the unusually cold and nasty weather we were anticipating here in the Northwest. Normally, we'd be waterskiing on a nearby reservoir for Memorial Day, but there was still ice on our favorite spot two weeks ago.
