Are you in the middle of trying to pay off some debt? Are you having a hard time gaining ground on paying off the debts that you owe? Well, if you are like me, then the 9 to 5 job isn’t cutting it when it comes to helping me reach my goal of getting out of debt. The #6 principle of managing money like a Money Crasher is to find creative ways to generate extra income. The reason this is one of my core principles for winning with money is because sometimes even on a strict budget, it’s tough to scrounge up enough money to gain traction with paying off debt.

Read this interview that I had with Ben Casnocha, a teenage entrepreneur with tremendous talent and potential. I thought that I would revisit this post, because I wrote it very early on in this blog’s life. You can get to know more about Ben by visiting his personal blog. I got to know him through email, and he seems like a great guy. He started a software company that helps local governments perform certain tasks more efficiently. We talk about entrepreneurship and how he started a company at such a young age. So go check it out and let me know what you think.

Good Morning America has been running a series called “Take More Control of Your Life” and this morning’s feature was starting a home-based business for $200 or less. You have heard me talk about it before, and it is a reality that you can become an entrepreneur for very little money. You don’t need thousands in venture capital or a huge small business loan from the bank to get started.ÂÂ

Most of you are aware that there are a growing amount of people in the “blogosphere” that make a full-time income from blogging. I still feel new when it comes to blogging, because I learn something new every day. Blogging is the media of the 21st century. I am convinced that it will dominate information for years to come. The fact that all I have to do is write something and press “publish” without any web coding on my part, still baffles me. Because blogging has become such a huge information medium, people are starting to capitalize off the popularity. Advertisers want a part of the blogging community, and they want it now.ÂÂ
The Playstation 3 Is Selling for more than $1,500 on Ebay

Most of you have heard about this, and it is true. People with pre-ordered PS3’s are selling them on Ebay, and people are actually buying them for $1,500, $1,700, even $2,200! Once I saw this, I said to myself, “Why didn’t I buy a pre-ordered PS3!” Now, I am thinking about sitting outside overnight to buy one. Target only has 8 people in line right now, and if they get 10 systems, then I would have a good chance at getting one. Let’s say I sold it for $1,600, then I would make $1,000 in profit! That is crazy. What some people will pay for convenience is beyond reason.ÂÂ
The Stress of Being Young, Broke, and Confused About a Career Path

I have a great wife, a cool dog, plenty of deep friendships, and a supportive extended family. However, I am young, broke, and I don’t enjoy the work that I am currently involved with. My favorite hobby right now is managing and writing for this blog. My thoughts about money and finance changed dramatically during my last year of college. I found myself drowning in debt with no career path. Now, I am working to pay bills, and struggling to pay down debt. I have to be honest when I tell you that I don’t have it all together when it comes to my finances. When I write posts, it reflects my goals, aspirations, and convictions towards how to handle money. Please don’t mistake me for someone who has experienced a ton of financial success at a young age. Basically, I learned from my financial mistakes a young age, whereas some people don’t learn from them until the later years of their life.ÂÂ
Check Out This Article About The Entrepreneurial Spirit

The article from Business Week titled, “Is There a Gene For Business?” explores the debate between whether or not entrepreneurs are born that way or you can teach someone to be an entrepreneur. As you will read my blog post below, I believe that everyone born in America has the ability to be an entrepreneur. I believe we all possess the qualities of an entrepreneur somewhere inside of us. The key is finding those qualities and using them. You will see in this article that some prominent executives in the business world agree with me and others do not agree. Anyway, I think it is an interesting discussion, so check it out.
My Entrepreneurial Spirit At A Young Age

I was going through some old junk a few days ago, and I stumbled across a necklace that I made when I was in elementary school. When I was young, I would buy materials to make beaded necklaces, bracelets, and anklets. I don’t think I charged enough money for them, but when you are working with kids whom only have enough money for lunch, you’ll get what you can take. In middle school, my friends and I used to take cans from neighborhood recycling bins, crush them, and take them to the recycling center. We would get $5.00 for every so many pounds. It ended up being enough money for some baseball cards and Checker’s burgers.ÂÂ
