Summary of the episode:

I discuss the article that I wrote last friday regarding the five reasons why you may not have received your stimulus payment yet. I’m basically extending this discussion and providing more insight as to why you may not have received the payment yet or when it could be coming if you didn’t receive it on your scheduled direct deposit date.

my rebate was scheduled to come by may 16,2008. I spent more gas
checking the mail than what my refund is worth. I wish they would be more accurate with the dates.

I did receive my money but none for my wife and child as if they did not exist or we could afford not to receive their stimulus.
Well we have already spent the money and sit and wait to see if the checks for them ever arrive.
Getting in touch with the IRS on phone or website has been nothing short of frustrating.
Gives me the feeling that they hope that most peopel will not bother and be happy they have gotten anything.
I’m sure people a lot more well of than us are getting the checks.
SS number checking on the IRS site just gets me a ” no info at this time”
    “WOW”!

get this…my husband and I file separately and my last 2 digits are 59 and my husbands are 92. Today he rec’d a notice regarding his rebate saying he will get his payment on may 23, 2008. This is really crazy if you look at the calender on www.irs.gov he isnt suppose to get his until july and Im suppose to recieve my check on or by June 20th, 2008. It all doesnt make any sense and im pretty ticked off!

I did my taxes way back in Feb. I was supposed to have had my stimulus check deposited in my bank account in the middle of May. Nothing. No one will talk to you on the phone, no one can tell you anything, whenever I put in my ssn they tell me they can’t tell me anything. I’m frustrated because I just want to know what’s going on. They are so disorganized and they make us feel like money hungry people because we want what is ours. It’s not right that many people have already gotten money and so many others are waiting.
