Five Great Gifts Under $50 for Anyone On Your Holiday List

If you’ve took any of my advice about the holidays, then you’ve already set up a budget for each individual that you’re going to buy a gift for this holiday season. For instance, we get our nephews and niece a $25 dollar gift. We get our parents $75 dollar gifts for each parent and so on. I like the $50 dollar limit, because you can usually buy a pretty nice, thoughtful gift for under $50. Here are five gifts that are great for anyone on your list this year.
An MP3 Player (not one with an apple on the back of it). Go to this CNET page for a list of great MP3 players for under $50. I recommend any of the Sandisk players. Sandisk is a great company and I think their small MP3 players are better looking than the iPod Shuffle and Nano. Also, they come with an FM tuner, which is a feature that the new iPod Nano SHOULD have had, but of course, Apple won’t add that feature until they come out with their next generation of iPods another year from now. Ugh.
A Photo Book. I think these are great gifts especially for putting photos together for one occasion such as a vacation, wedding, or other major event. You can buy a photo book for $30 to $50 at ShutterFly.com. The world of digital photos has taken away the good ole’ fashion photos that used to clutter up our desk drawers. Photo books are a great way to organize a collection of digital photos and put them in a nice, clean looking book.
A really good book. Think of the book worm on your list, and get them a new release from their favorite author or a book that they would read 15 times and not get sick of it. I don’t know about you, but I hate buying books for myself. Plus, the hard backs so expensive.
A pair of Crocs. Say what you will about them, but I’ve heard they’re pretty comfortable, and if you know someone that can sport them well, they’re a great gift for $30 to $40 bucks.
iTunes Gift Card. Again, I hate buying music online for myself. Plus, iTunes is so much more than music now. You can buy audiobooks, movies, and TV shows. I know that gift cards seem like a cheesy gift, but you’ll make the iPod junkie on your list a very happy person!
