However, I'm not a big believer in magic bullets or solitary solutions. Complex problems generally require multi-tiered solutions. To really understand statistics you need underlying data, and often that isn't available. Even more so if you're comparing two studies. And even though I know that I still sometimes don't pause to think that through. It's pretty scary when people with master's degrees resort to searching for waitressing jobs. This podcast episode that we recorded with Penelope Trunk from Brazen Careerist is really fantastic.
