Welcome Consumerist Readers, Feel Free to Browse The Site

Erik Folgate

I just wanted to welcome those of you who stumbled across this site from the link on consumerist.com about my friend who ended up paying $400 for a macbook pro on one of those “Free giveaway” sites. The point of that post was to show that you WILL have to pay something to actually redeemed the gift. As you know, nothing in life is truly free. But, I just wanted to let my readers out there know that there are legitimate sites out there that will give away what they boast if you follow through with their advertising offers. Getting 80% off of a sweet laptop is what I call, A GREAT DEAL!

If you’re new to the site, please check out my 11 Principles Series. It sums up the core beliefs of this site when it comes to personal finance and handling money.

Also, if you’re wanting to know more about how to get out of debt the long, hard, but always effective way, check out my debt elimination plan for getting and staying out of debt. Hope you enjoy the site. Feel free to make any comments you’d like or ask me any questions about the site.
