15 Women’s Discount Fashion Finds – Clothing & Accessories for $10 or Less

By Laura Williams

fashion finds under $10There’s nothing quite like the thrill of a really great fashion buy. However, it’s getting harder every day to find cute pieces for less than $10, and finding affordable, fashionable clothing is especially important! This way you can look great without resorting to “wardrobing.”

Rather than sending you off to scour the Internet yourself, here is a list of apparel and accessories that will clothe you from head to toe. Just keep in mind that many of these items frequently go on sale, so get them while you can!

Finding Fashion Buys

If you’re a big online bargain hunter, identify your favorite stores and begin your search in the sale or clearance section of these websites. Most sites allow you to sort your results by size and price, so you can set your budget and only look at items that fall below your predetermined limit. This will speed up the process, as you won’t waste your time looking at items you can’t afford.

After you’ve searched your favorite stores, branch out to thrift stores and big box retailers that are known for their deals, including Target, Walmart, Payless Shoe Source, DSW Shoe Warehouse, Nordstrom Rack, and the like. These stores often have great deals on tops and dresses, and you’ll have more success finding options you gravitate toward because their selection is so large.

Finally, finish your shopping spree at sites geared specifically to teens, such as Forever 21 or Wet Seal. This may seem counter-intuitive, but most of these stores offer bargain prices, especially during back-to-school sales, and feature many accessories that are perfect for women of all ages.

By not straying from this system nor succumbing to more expensive purchases, I was able to find the following 15 women’s fashion finds, all less than $10.

Women’s Clothing & Accessories Under $10

1. Sam Moon Fashion Necklace Set, $7.50

This Sam Moon Fashion Necklace Set features an 18-inch burnished gold necklace and matching earrings that are perfect for hitting the town on the weekend or wearing with a blazer and blouse during the work week.

2. Wet Seal Tiered Belted Tube Dress, $10.00

The Wet Seal Tiered Belted Tube Dress is a fantastic “just for fun” purchase that’s perfect for a daytime date. I like it because its simple style allows you to alter its look drastically with just a few accessories. I suggest pairing it with slouchy brown leather knee-high boots and a leather Western messenger bag one day, and a pair of gladiator sandals and a wide metallic collar necklace the next.

3. Target Merona Women’s Smock Waist Dress, $7.00

You can’t go wrong with the Target Merona Women’s Smock Waist Dress. The smocking at the waist draws attention to your narrowest point while the slight A-line skirt hides potential trouble zones. Also, the simple V-neck shows off your décolletage and shoulders. Wear it around the house or dress it up with accessories and top it with a cardigan for a work-appropriate ensemble.

4. Forever 21 Ankle-Length Leggings, $5.80

Every woman needs a few pairs of leggings to wear under dresses, skirts, and shorts, but there’s no sense in paying a lot of money for them. Pick up one (or all) of the four color options of Forever 21’s Ankle-Length Leggings. At only $5.80 a pair, they’re definitely worth the money!

5. Forever 21 Panties, 5 for $10.00

I don’t know about you, but I can’t pass up a great deal on panties. Forget the three-for-$25 deals you see at most stores – stock up for less at Forever 21. They’re offering five pairs of panties in a variety of colors and styles for only $10.

6. Wet Seal Big Lace Cami, $8.50

If you don’t already have a full set of camisoles in your closet, it’s time you stock up! Camis are perfect for wearing by themselves or for layering under shorter tops, sweaters, and blazers. The Wet Seal Big Lace Cami is perfect for every working woman because the lace detailing makes you look professional. Pick up a single cami for $8.50 or buy two for $12.

7. Sam Moon Stackable Bangle Set, $7.99

When you need a simple but stand-out accessory to complement your skinny jeans and graphic tee, look no further than the Sam Moon Stackable Bangle Set. It comes in three different color combinations with six separate bangles in metal tones and faux snake print. I’m personally a fan of the red set.

Carry your iPad in style with the New York & Company Faux Crocodile iPad Case. The metallic bronze color is the perfect choice to pair with any outfit, giving you confidence that your case is every bit as fashionable as the technology you’re carrying inside.

9. Walmart George – Women’s Elissa Unstructured Cuff Ankle Boots, $9.00

Who says you can’t find boots for under $10? The George Women’s Elissa Unstructured Cuff Ankle Boots may not be the best-constructed boot in the history of shoemaking, but they’re certainly fashionable enough to wear to the office or out on a date.

10. Victoria’s Secret Tunic Tank, $9.99

The Victoria’s Secret Tunic Tank was designed to carry you from the gym to the street in style. This top features fashionable details such as a square neckline, close fit, and colorblocking, but it’s also designed for function with an extra-long hemline and built-in shelf bra.

12. Nordstrom Lulu Pleated Wristlet, $7.90

You can’t go wrong with a simple black clutch, so make sure you pick up the Lulu Pleated Wristlet from Nordstrom. You can carry it by its detachable strap or hold it in your hand. The simple styling makes it the perfect accessory for a laid-back look or with a little black dress.

13. Express Fold-Over Waistband Skirt, $9.99

Are you ready to show off some leg? The Express Fold-Over Waistband Skirt is the perfect choice for a hot date or a night out with the girls. If mini-skirts aren’t really your thing, pair it with leggings and flats for a more toned-down look. While I love the leopard print skirt, the tie-dyed version allows you to look a little more casual.

14. Delia’s Erykah Cable Knit Sweater, $9.99

You probably wouldn’t want to wear the belly-baring Erykah Cable Knit Sweater by itself, but layered over an extra-long cami and paired with jeans, it perfects the lazy-Saturday look. Choose between cream and pistachio colors.

15. Sam Moon Fashion Infinity Scarf, $7.00

Infinity scarves are trending this season, and you can’t beat the price of Sam Moon’s Fashion Infinity Scarf at only $7. While it’s available in 10 different colors, I love the bright mustard yellow. Wear it to run errands on the weekend or to keep warm as you travel to and from the gym.

Final Word

It can be hard to buy quality clothing on a budget, but when push comes to shove, fashion is all about personal preference – the best deals will be the ones you’ll actually wear. No matter how good a deal is, never throw money away on a fashion purchase you feel indifferent about. Shop smart, identify styles or pieces of apparel that you truly love, then wait until you see a sale come around. Almost everything goes on sale eventually, so as long as the item you’re coveting isn’t overly trendy, chances are you’ll have lots of opportunities to wear it in the future.
