I Will Be In Cancun For the Next Few Days

Erik Folgate

I know, it’s a rough life. This is a well deserved vacation for me and my wife. She just graduated from two years straight of physician assistant graduate school, and I haven’t taken a real vacation from my job in quite some time. We went to Cancun for our honeymoon three years ago, so we decided to go back for our three year anniversary. We were originally reserved to go to the Aventura Spa Palace which is part of the Palace Resort chains in Mexico, but it was hit by Hurricane Emily in 2005. So, we were routed to the Fiesta Americanas Condeza, or something like that. This time, we didn’t have enough money to visit a Palace Resort, but we’ve only heard great things about it.

We booked 5 nights at the Riu Caribe. Anyone been there? I guess we’ll find out if it’s nice or not! It was pretty cheap. We got 5 nights, all-inclusive, for $595 per person. For those of you who’ve never done all-inclusive and think it’s a rip-off, I highly recommend it when visiting Mexico. Imagine this: You can eat and drink as much as you want and never think about the bill. It’s sweet.

On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, your eyes will be graced with the presence of my best friend’s words and multimedia presentations. Tim will be writing some guest posts, and he even has a sweet little video post put together for you. If you’re into facebook hacks, video editing, and other multimedia stuff, go check out his personal site at TimNCox.Com.
