Get the Graphite™ Business Cash Unlimited Card if your business puts more than about $80,000 a year on one card. Past that point, its uncapped 2% cash back earns more than the no-fee Blue Business Cash, even after its $295 annual fee. Spend less, and the Blue Business Cash earns you more.
American Express launched the Graphite Business Cash Unlimited Card in March 2026 and no longer takes applications for its Plum Card. The Graphite is built for businesses that put most of their spending on one card, and it has no preset spending limit, so what you can charge adjusts with your purchase, payment, and credit history.

- A large welcome offer for businesses that already spend heavily
- Room for large purchases, with no preset spending limit
- Purchase, return, and extended-warranty protection
Cons
- $295 annual fee, while the no-fee Blue Business Cash pays 2% on its first $50,000 a year
- Capital One’s Spark Cash Plus also pays uncapped 2%, for a $150 fee it refunds in any year you spend $150,000 or more
- $95 a year for each employee card, which Spark Cash Plus issues free
- Welcome offer takes $50,000 in purchases within 6 months
- Cash back posts only when you pay at least the minimum by the due date
Businesses that charge more than $79,500 a year earn more with this card than with the Blue Business Cash, whose 2% drops to 1% past $50,000, since the extra 1% on that spending covers the $295 fee. Owners who spend less and rarely book through Amex Travel should take the Blue Business Cash, which pays the same 2% on its first $50,000 a year with no annual fee.
