So how is it working out for you so far? Are you able to follow through on your promise?
A great way to get some extra help in ridding yourself of consumer debt is to cut up your credit cards and shred them up – literally. If you don’t physically have the card, you’re obviously not going to be able to use it.

We’ve done an Outright review here on Money Crashers before and praised it as being an awesome finance tool for small businesses, freelancers, and self-employed folk alike. In case you’re not familiar, Outright is an online accounting website that ties in with your bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts including Paypal. It “frees you of accounting” by automatically keeping track of and categorizing revenue and expenses, and it even helps you calculate estimated self-employment taxes you’ll need to pay as well as generate the forms you’ll need once Uncle Sam demands his money.
